Schools Within the Municipality Receive Dual Desks

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Dr. Kingsley Osei, today, 15th August 2023 presented 500 dual desk to schools in the Municipality at the forecourt of the Assembly.

The MCE in his brief address during the presentation commended the NPP Government led by his Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and his Vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the immerse support given to education since they assumed office.  He said he can count several supports that the Sector has received from the Government and more are yet to come.  He urged the Directorate to take very good care of all the benefits they had received, especially the dual desk he is giving them.

The Human Resource Officer, Mr. Afuakwa, who received the desk on behalf of the Education Director, expressed the Directorate gratitude to the MCE for the support he had been given to the sector since he assumed office.  He promised the Directorate together with the school authorities will take very good care of the facility given them and they would be grateful if more of such support is extended to the sector.

An interaction with Mr. Afuakwa indicated that the dual desk was going to be shared among forty-one (41) schools.  He said the sharing would be based on the enrolment of the school.  He added that the highest a school can get will be 15 desk and the minimum will be 10.
