ESMA Calls for Emergency MUSEC Meeting

In attendance were the Divisional Crime Officer, the Municipal Prisons Commander, the Municipal Fire Officer, a representative from the Traditional Council, the Municipal Ambulance Commander, the Municipal Immigration Commander, and a representative of the National Intelligence Bureau.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dr. Kingsley Osei, requested a detailed report on the incident to be presented to him by the Head of the affected security service at their next meeting, as the circulated video has already garnered regional and national interest. He further advised the various security heads to caution their officers to act professionally to prevent such issues from happening again.
In the case of the neighborhood watch personnel, he asked the police to invite members for training on the do’s and don’ts of their activities and to possibly establish a formal arrangement for their engagement.
A resolution was later passed to set up a committee to address all grievances that may arise from these incidents and report directly to him.
