Tijjaniyya Muslim Council of Ghana donates to Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal

The Tijjaniyya Muslim Council of Ghana On Monday April 20, 2020, donated some food items and precautionary materials to the Government of Ghana through the Municipal Chief Executive for Ejura Sekyedumase, Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba in Ejura.

In presenting the items,the President of the Council Sheikh Khalifa Ahmed Abulfaid commended the President’s effort in fighting this COVID 19 pandemic. He urged the general Public to follow all precautionary measures outlined by the world health organization (WHO) and Ghana Health Service.

“We know whatever befalls a nation is by the will of Allah,that is why we are calling on him to intervene and deliver us from this pandemic Despite our numerous spiritual interventions, this is the little that we can do to support the Government’s effort in fighting this COVID 19”

Khalifa reiterated.

Hon. Mohammed Salisu Bamba received the items on behalf of the President His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. He showed gratitude to the leadership of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Council Of Ghana for this kind gesture and promised to distribute the items to the vulnerable in the areas affected by the three-week lock down.

The items include 25 bags of 50kg of Rice, 10 boxes of cooking oil, 15 Veronica buckets, 15 pieces of liquid soap and 1 box of disposable tissue.
