MCE and His Entourage Visits 2021 BECE Examination Centers

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dr. Kingsley Osei, the Municipal Education Director, Mr. Haruna Frimpong, some staff of the Assembly and Education Directorate, tour the Examination Centers of the Municipality from 15th to 17th November, 2021.  For effective monitoring of the various centers of examinations, the team used three days to visit all the ten centers in the Municipality.

Hon. Dr. Kingsley Osei encouraged the candidates to give their best and come out with good grades as the Free SHS awaits them.  He said they only need to pass the examination very well in order to enjoy the social intervention introduced by the NPP Government.

He advised the candidates to commence the examination without fear and panic, they should also relax to think about the questions critically before tackling them.

He further advised them to develop the points first and build on them. He cautioned them to desist from any Examination malpractice that would lead to the cancellation of their papers; as that would tarnish their own image, that of their schools and the Municipality at large.  He ended by wishing all of them best of successes in the exams.

The Municipal Education director, Mr. Haruna Frimpong urged the students to observe all the COVID 19 protocols especially the wearing of nose mask, he disclosed that all the students had been provided with nose mask and more were at the office.

He charged the officials to ensure that no mask no entry protocol is adhered to ensure safety of the student.

According to the Municipal Examinations Coordinator, Mr. Arthur, Expected candidates were 2523, with males 1272 and females 1251, Candidates who wrote the exams were 2486 with males 1232 and females 1254.  Candidates who were absent were 37, males were 18 and females were 19.
