ESMA Organizes General Assembly Meeting

The General Assembly Meeting was held on the 16th of September 2021. In attendance was all heads of departments and units, elected and appointed officials and other interested members of the public.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Salisu Bmaba, in delivering his address, informed the house that this was his last address and therefore thanked Honourable Members for their support. He seized the opportunity to bring to finality rumors that he had withdrawn himself from the MCE race by confirming that it was true.

On the Ejura disturbances and subsequent report by the Justice Koomson commission, the MCE prayed perpetuators face both physical and divine justice.

Finally, he advised members to collaborate with whoever shall be appointed the Chief Executive for the sake of the Municipality.

Other key issues discussed at the meeting was related to Health, Agriculture, security, Education, Revenue, Roads and many other.
