ESMA Calls for Second (2nd) General Assembly Meeting

As mandated by the Local Governance Act, 2016, Act 936, General Assembly meetings serve as a crucial platform for discussion, collaboration, and charting a collective vision for the municipality’s future.

On Friday, September 27, 2024, the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly held its Second Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the 9th Assembly at the Municipal Assembly’s Conference Hall. The meeting was convened to discuss reports from the Executive Committee and Zonal Councils meetings, review the 2024 Composite Budget and Annual Action Plans, and address key matters. Additionally, the meeting aimed to strategically allocate resources to meet the municipality’s development goals and the needs of its residents.

The meeting, presided over by Hon. Nana Appiagyei Frank, saw the attendance of key stakeholders, including Hon. In his address, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dr. Kingsley Osei, highlighted various programs and activities undertaken during the review period and provided updates on the progress of the Agenda 111 District hospital project.
