MCE Joins Sekyedumase Traditional Council to Celebrate ‘Bra Fie’ Festival

The Municipal Chief Executive of Ejura-Sekyedumase Hon. Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba together with the Regional Minister Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, the National Communication Director, Mr Yaw Boabeng Asamoah, the DCE for Sekyere Afram Plains Hon. Joseph Owusu, the Ashanti Regional Financial Secretary, Mr Samuel N. Abagna, the NPP Constituency Chairman Mr Paul Kwaku Duut, Assembly Members and some Assembly Staff joined the Sekyedumase Traditional Council and the good people of Sekyedumase to celebrate this year’s “BRA FIE AFAHY3 (FESTIVAL)”

Bra fie Afahy3 is a Traditional festival organized annually by the Traditional Leadership of Sekyedumase with the main aim of bringing together the illustrious  sons and daughters and citizens of the town far and near together to meet and plan for the development of their Town.

The Festival which was clouded by some many memorable an historic event saw the MCE of Ejura-Sekyedumase Conferred a Traditional title of #Oseadieyo (He who walks his talk) by his Royal Highness Nana Antwi Bosiako I of Sekyedumase Traditional Council.

Marking the Bra fie Afahy3, Hon. Salisu Bamba (MCE) within last week commissioned the Sekyedumase Community Resource Center, and cut sod for the construction of Maternity units and Theater for Sekyedumase Health Center in order to gain the needed infrastructures for an upgrade to a hospital status. He also supported the organization of the festival with a Thousand Ghana Cedis.

The Ashanti regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah,representing the President of Ghana at the festival. In his speech, He promised to work on the potholes from Aframso to Sekyedumase road and also through the regional Agirc Directorate repair the Silos to enhance agricultural in the area.

The good people and the Traditional Council of Sekyedumase expressed their sincere gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the festival. The Hon. MCE in return was grateful for the honor accorded to him.
