It constitutes about 7.3% of the region’s total land area with about one third of its land area lying in the Afram Plains.
Following the creation of new Assembly, the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipality, located in the Northern part of the Ashanti Region, now shares borders with Atebubu-Amantin District in the North-West, Mampong Municipality to the East, Sekyere South District to the South and the Offinso Municipal Assembly to the West.
