Sod Cutting for Road Construction by MCE

Making Towns accessible to each other through good roads is one of the basic needs for economic and social growth of any community, with this in mind and line with the vision of making all farm roads accessible in the Ejura-Sekyedumase municipality, Hon. Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba on Wednesday June 10, 2020 at Babaso (a town in Ejura) cut sod for the construction of asphalt road notably, Babaso – Atta Kura 1, Kassim kura, then Kassim kura to Attakura number 2.

The short ceremony had in attendance some members of the traditional council, officers from the Municipal Assembly, media and many more.

The Hon. MCE, in addressing the media and the gathering explained the importance of the project and brought to light its economic benefit to the people of the town as related to their nature of work which is mostly farming.

The road sector has however received much attention from the Municipal Chief Executive of Ejura-Sekyedumase Hon. Mohammed Slaisu Bamba as it is in line with the Governments “Year of Roads” Agenda.
