MCE Pays Working Visit to Government’s PFJ Fertilizer Retailers/Distributors

on Thursday, 02/05/2019, the MCE for Ejura Sekyedumase Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba paid a working visit to over 10 retailers/distributors of government’s Planting For Food and Job (PFJ) program within the Municipality.

This tour was to ascertain how government’s 50% subsidy on distribution of improved seeds, 50% subsidy on fertilizer and free extension services to farmers was faring in the Municipality, and to also get first hand information on challenges they face and how best to address them

Hon Mohammed Salisu Bamba was accompanied by the Director of Agric. Mr. Obrien, Hon. Presiding Member of ESMA, Agric Sub-Committee Chairman, Deputy Coordinating Director, Mr Ayaba Al-Aziz Musah and other staff of the Assembly.

It was realized that the vision of the President relating to the purpose of the pregame was on course and had minor challenges which could be addressed with ease.
