M.C.E’S Familiarization Tour (Municipality)
The M.C.E, Hon. Mohammed Salisu Bamba together with staffs of the Municipal Assembly and Heads of other departments embarked on a familiarization tour of the EJURA-SEKYEDUMASE MUNICIPALITY
The aim of the tour was to get the M.C.E acquainted with the issues surrounding most communities in the municipality and to also aid in the preparation of budget towards the development of those communities based on their needs.
However, most of the communities visited had similar issues or challenges, that is:
- Rehabilitation or building of schools
- Extension or the provision of Electricity
- Building of Health facilities
- Provision of sanitation facilities
- Provision or better access to Water facilities
- Rehabilitation or construction of roads
- Provision of adequate security
- Communication or mobile network accessibility and many more.
The Tour which began on the 12th to the 15th of September 2017 saw the M.C.E and his entourage visiting many communities. of September 2017 saw the M.C.E and his entourage visiting many communities. Kyenkyenkura, Abrewano, Dejau, Famekyebaabi, Kantankani, Adjamasu, Mbanaa, and and Zambrama were communities visited on the first day of the tour.
The Second day which was on the 13th saw the observation of the “MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL EVENT”. The M.C.E in accordance of the said event visited the . The M.C.E in accordance of the said event visited the Ahenboboano M/A Primary School, , Ejura Model Basic School, , Ejura R/C Primary School, , Ejuraman Senior High School and the and the Sekyedumase Senior High School. Communities was visited on this day was . Communities was visited on this day was Teacherkurom, Frante, Sekyedumase, Asuoyeboah, Gyaaho, Drobong, and Nkrampo.
Ademmara Nkwanta, Ebuom, Bayere Nkwanta, Nyame Bekyere, Miminaso No.1 & 2, Nkwaseakan, Kobriti, Yabraso, Aframso, Nkyensee, Kasei, Ejura Nkwanta, Hiawoanwu, Bonyon, Dromankoma, Fakawa and and Serekyikura were communities visited on the third and fourth day of the tour.
However, Plans are already in motion by the Assembly to solve the above listed challenges facing various communities.
