Ejura-Sekyedumase awarded Nationally 7th best and Regionally 2nd Best Assembly in 2018

The Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly has been awarded by the Local Government Service for placing 7th in the national ranking and 2nd in the Regional ranking of best performing districts assembly for the year 2018.

The assembly was honored for its outstanding achievement in the implementation of the 2018 Performance Contract through hard work and dedication in meeting targets.

It successfully met most indicators under the key Performance Areas in the performance Contract. The areas include Human Resource Management, Infrastructure, Social Service and Economic Development.

A citation presented acknowledged that the

“Ejura-Sekyedumase Assembly has contributed significantly to improve the general development of its municipality through innovation and creativity. This accomplishment of delivering lasting results sets it apart from other institutions in this category.”

The MCE for Ejura-Sekyedumase Hon Salisu Bamba and MCD Alhaji Issifu Fawei received the awards on behalf of the Assembly and commended the efforts of the hardworking staff of assembly for the well-deserved honour.

He however noted that he together with the staff will not allow complacency to set in but will work extra hard to emerge winner in the subsequent ranking.
